A Connecticut farmer had founded an experience-oriented public farm. A place for visitors to visit and connect with farm animals. As one of the farm's first branding efforts, he needed a logo that felt welcoming from the very start. His one specific ask was a cow wearing a top hat.

I used a photo of one of his own dairy cows as the foundation, tracing it into a classic, hand-illustrated style rather than a generic stock look, so the logo would feel personal to his actual herd. I added an old-fashioned top hat and paired it with a bold serif typeface to keep the whole mark feeling timeless and inviting.

The client loved the branding and only requested one round of edits (a color adjustment), approving the design almost immediately. He rolled the logo out across the farm's full range of products and merchandise.
